Fundamentals (Quantum Physics)

One of the fundamental concepts of quantum physics is the wave function (or wavefunction), which is is a mathematical description of the quantum state of an isolated quantum system. It provides information (in the form of probability amplitude) about what measurements of a particle’s energy, momentum, and other physical properties may yield.
