Black-body Radiation¶

Black-body radiation is the thermal electromagnetic radiation emitted from a body in thermodynamic equilibrium with its environment. A black body is an ideal model of a body that is opaque (i.e. it is impermeable to light) and non-reflective (i.e. it absorbs all incoming radiation). The radiation spectrum of a black body only depends on its temperature.
